Narasimha a small-scale farmer from Jadegondanahalli village, Tumkur District is a living example of someone who looked and found opportunities to shape his future. He did not just stop at being a millet farmer. He wanted more of it. He desired to grow ahead of what he was already involved in. 

He didn’t pull down the shade to Opportunity

Only when you plant a tree, you can enjoy the shade of it in the scorching heat even if there is no ray of hope. The farmer who grew millets to earn his living, forever desired to learn more of agriculture and the other farming techniques.

Papaya farming was something that interested the most. Next, he enrolled in it and started enhancing his idea about its cultivation. He started out as a papaya grower on his own after learning about it. He learned about papaya farming’s climate and how to choose a papaya breed from the training. How some of the yields are obtained by seeding, How should the soil and land be prepared, the necessity for labor, Manure and Irrigation, Disease and Medicine, Harvesting and Packing, Sales and Export, Income and Expense, Demand and Supply, and Challenges.

The Humane Human

Along with being an excellent farmer, Narasimha was a perceptive observer who had compassion for others. The demand remained constant since he began his firm, but he believed that most people could not afford to pay the price specified for a fruit. He set the minimal prices at which they could be purchased so that everyone could afford one. Further, he built a shop nearby, selling the papayas directly to the customers. 

Narasimha believes to expand his farming business to next level in a span of a couple months, influencing many around him.
